"Volunteering Queensland (VQ) works with all sectors of the community to strengthen their capacity to engage people in volunteering in all its forms. VQ's role is to support and encourage participation, provide leadership,and facilitate partnerships, networks and resource sharing.

VQ also provides a telephone help desk and individual consultation service to help build community organisations' capacity to serve their communities.
