Volunteers' Cricket Day

Every year for the past nine years the Volunteers' Cricket Day has been held in recognition and acknowledgement of the outstanding contribution volunteers make in our communities. The day encourages volunteers to get together with their friends and families to enjoy a free day out at the cricket to reward their dedication and hard work.

Volunteering Queensland works with Queensland Cricket and the Brisbane City Council to bring this exciting event to Queensland volunteers. TransLink joined the partnership in 2006 offering free public transport for volunteers and their families on scheduled TransLink bus, rail and ferry services to and from the match on the day.

Please check back at the beginning of the cricket season next October for details of the next Volunteers' Cricket Day. Alternatively, you can email your contact details to cricket@volqld.org.au to be added to our mailing list for this event.
