Course Name: Volunteer Managers Network Meeting
Unit Name: This forum will examine a variety of new and not so new technologies and how they can assist volunteer managers. We will be considering different internet sites, exchanges and skills-bank, explaining the uses of wiki, blogging and common source approaches, as well as the social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. We will also be examining some of the future technologies and how they can be utilised to enhance the work of Volunteer Management. The forum will provide an excellent introduction for those new to these approaches while also demonstrating innovative uses for the more experienced.
Course outline: This is an opportunity for managers and coordinators of volunteers from all sectors of the community to network, discuss current issues affecting volunteering, contribute to government policy on volunteering, hear from experts, find resources and information for your volunteer program.

If you work with volunteers in small or large community organisations including sport, arts, environment, social action & support groups, health, education, tourism, service and recreational clubs and groups, emergency services, welfare, government agencies and community services then. THIS IS YOUR NETWORK - MAKE IT WORK FOR YOU!
